Have you ever walked past a car on the street and thought to yourself – I’m glad that’s not my car! Sure you have. Well, here are a couple of cars we’ve spotted on the internet that made us say those exact words out loud.

If you are shopping around for a new car, you’ll no doubt come across a lot of options online; here are a few options that you’ll be thanking your lucky stars you don’t own.

This parking inspector must have thought he was tiling a bathroom wall with of those perfectly place parking tickets. In the end, the car ended up with 10 notices, each containing a £30 fine. That’s around $A500 dollars in total. This might make you think twice about where you park your car when going on your next overseas holiday.

Now, here’s a girl who obviously doesn’t like losing in a game of Monopoly… is it that Monogamy?

Up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s… a 1985 Mazda 626?

Some people do everything in their car – eat, sleep, skydive… Now, I know we are pushing extreme sports to the limit with base-jumping and wing suit flying, but skydiving from your car seems to be going just a little too far. Something tells me activities like this are not covered by the driver’s insurance policy. Let’s just say, we think this driver might be in for some new wheels when he comes down to earth.

Elderly drivers are usually reprimanded for their slow and overly-cautious driving, but not in this case. The 67-year-old driver of this Mercedes ‘allegedly’ got his foot stuck between the brake pedal and the accelerator when he reversed, at speed, into a building wall. The car crashed through the wall and hung precariously seven stories above a parking lot below. Thankfully the driver escaped the accident without a scratch, but the cars below were showered with the bricks. Lucky no one below was parking their car at the time.

When buyers request to have red leather seats installed into their car, this is not what they normally think will happen.

That said, there is something ‘artistic’ about the way the paint has splashed on to the seats, and the dashboard, and the steering wheel, and the gearstick. The artist later revealed that the work symbolised the internal struggle many drivers face when it comes to choosing an interior colour for their new vehicle, while the single can of Mountain Dew that remains’ untouched in its cup holder is a symbol of the enduring need for more cup holders in modern day vehicle. Such unique work deserves a place at Museum of Contemporary Art.
